Ballogg Residence

Wickenburg, Arizona - 2003

This home was designed for a retired couple along a wash in a moderate desert town. The tight budget, limited view, and highway exposed low-desert site presented a challenging design problem. Built from insulated concrete forms (ICF's), it gathers outdoor space to link with the indoors. The design weaves natural ventilation, daylighting, and efficient construction into a fluid solution.
