History House (project)

Phoenix, Arizona - 1997

A straw-bale urban-infill residential project for an historical neighborhood in central Phoenix. A small lot, typical to the area, provided a challenge in developing this prototype model with respect to its straw-bale construction. However, the plan is flexible, as it allows spaces to be positioned in response to various lot orientations and street relationships.
